Welcome to Sherburn High School’s transition information. We look forward to meeting you and your child at our transition events and in September. We understand how important the move from primary to secondary school is and we appreciate the importance of the decision you’ve made in choosing us as your child’s secondary school.

Here you will find everything you need to know to support your child’s transition from Year 6 to Year 7 at Sherburn High School. Our focus is on being part of Team Sherburn from the first day and embodying the school values of ambition, respect and community. 

We understand that there may be questions you have and queries about the day to day of being at secondary school. You can direct any questions to the transition team.
