Sherburn High School Sixth Form have today celebrated with students, their families and staff as students opened their examination  results.  As envelopes were anxiously opened, Sixth Form was soon filled with the shrieks of joy and happy tears as many students have achieved their first-choice university and apprenticeship places. 

Head of Sixth Form Lydia Jackson proudly commented “We are so lucky to share these moments with our Class of 2025 and their families.  They worked hard throughout their time in our Sixth Form, met challenges head on and showed what a resilient group of young adults they are.  They should be proud of their positive and driven approach to their studies and future success.  They have truly thrived.  As a year group they will be missed but will always be a part of our Sixth Form family.  We wish them all the best for the future and look forward to their future visits as Sixth Form Alumni.” 

Headteacher Miriam Oakley commented “I could not be prouder of our students throughout their time at Sherburn. They deserve the excellent grades they received today and I look forward to learning about their future successes!”
