In September the Art Department took 75 GCSE art students to see some interationally famous sculptors work at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park at Bretton Hall. Students were given a guided tour, explaining the ideas and concepts artists like Henry Moore, Barbera Hepworth and Antony Caro dealt with. Students also considered how the work was made and its impact on them. Written notes, drawings and photographs were collected and will be used to develop the students own work back at school.
