Keith Whatlin returned to our school in January to deliver a slide show and presentation exploring the earliest artwork known to man. He described the importance of storytelling in Egyptian art, the contemporary influences on architecture from both Greek and Roman periods. Students learnt about how artists visualised their gods and how materials were used to create some of the world’s earliest creative artwork.
