The Science Department at Sherburn High School is the proud owner of 15 Data Harvest Vision data loggers which we would love your pupils to take advantage of. The lab. technicians Joan, Sophie and Helen are able to visit your school bringing the loggers and all the equipment required.
The activities are designed to be educational, inspirational and fun, involving pupils from the planning stages through the execution and results analysis.
We are able to log: light, temperature, sound and heart rate and also have ramps and timing switches to investigate the effects of gradient and friction on a vehicle.
We would be happy to visit for full or part days and are able to lead sessions, giving the pupils a ‘taste’ of data logging or support you in using the loggers for fuller investigations. Alternatively, the loggers are available for loan, just ask!
